What’s New with Medicare: 2026 Updates and Open Enrollment

Medicare can be a complicated program for RSCs to educate their residents on, and can be difficult for your residents to understand. Not to fear! In this workshop, we will review: the four parts of Medicare; the Medicare enrollment; how to avoid late enrollment penalties; the Part D prescription drug benefits and the donut hole; the difference between MediGap and Medicare Advantage plan options; how to coordinate Medicare and Medicaid; Medicare and Veterans benefits; and, Medicare and employer coverage.
