John Painter Appointed to NERSC Board of Directors
East Haven, CT – New England Resident Service Coordinators, Inc. (NERSC) proudly announces the appointment of John Painter to its esteemed Board of Directors. As the leading organization for training and professional development in resident services across New England, Painter will contribute his expertise and leadership in advancing the field of Service Coordination.
As a Board member, Painter will play a pivotal role in guiding NERSC’s strategic initiatives, ensuring the organization continues to uphold best practices in resident services across the region. His extensive background includes overseeing multi-million dollar programs, developing peer support initiatives, and spearheading corporate orientations for service coordinators.

Mr. Painter’s professional journey includes roles such as Service Director at Motivational Services, Inc. and Director of Case Management at Peninsula Counseling & Consultation, reflecting his dedication to improving mental health services and advocacy. NERSC hosts annual conferences, webinars, and provides ongoing resources to over 550 Resident Service Coordinators and housing professionals throughout the region, as well as an online community where those serving our most vulnerable families connect for education, best practices, and support.
