NERSC 2025 at Mohegan Sun: A Week Away!

The countdown is officially on NERSC 2025, which is just one week away. We can’t wait to welcome you to Mohegan Sun for three inspiring days of learning, connection, and wellness.

Each year, the NERSC (New England Resident Service Coordinators) Conference brings together resident service professionals for daily training and development. Over the course of four days, you’ll be surrounded by dedicated peers who are passionate about the work they do to support residents and communities. Whether it’s your first time attending or you’ve been coming for over a decade, there’s always something new to learn and experience.

What to Expect

Expect days filled with powerful and practical workshops designed to help you grow professionally and do your job with excellence. Topics range from best practices in case management to community engagement, self-care strategies, housing updates, and more. These sessions are designed with real-world application in mind; everything you’ll learn is meant to help you back at your site.

But NERSC isn’t just about work, it’s also about connection and wellness. There will be plenty of opportunities to meet new people, reconnect with familiar faces, and build a supportive network of fellow Resident Service Coordinators from across the region.

Special Events You Won’t Want to Miss

Soothing Touch To-Go Appointments: These wellness sessions offer Reiki, reflexology, massages, and chakra balancing. They book fast, so sign up early if you want to attend!

Walk-In Meditation Room: Need a break to breathe and center yourself?  Pop in any time to recharge your energy.

Welcome to NERSC! Newcomers & Friends Session: This is an excellent kickoff with interactive team-building activities, perfect for breaking the ice.

Candle-Making Workshop: A relaxing, creative break during a busy day.

Let’s Glow Crazy Dance Party: Bust out your best neon and glow-in-the-dark gear for a fun night of dancing and celebration!

And so much more.

A Few Things to Keep in Mind

Arrive early if you can. Valet lines can get long, and self-parking is a short walk from the hotel. Giving yourself a little extra time helps you start your trip stress-free.

The dress code is business casual, but you should wear jeans with a nice shirt or comfy-but-polished shoes. You'll be walking around, so wear shoes that feel good!

Be Prepared to Say Hello—this is a warm, welcoming space, and a smile and friendly attitude go a long way.

End-of-Conference Tip: Consider packing up before the closing keynote. Some attendees even bring their bags down early and check them with the concierge or store them in their car, whatever works to help you leave relaxed and ready to go.
